Missouri True Blue Women is a committee under the umbrella of the main organization of True Blue Women. We formed it based on the requests we had from our Missouri members to have a group which would work on issues that are specific only to our side of the state line. We currently have 20 members and meet regularly when the Legislature is in session.
Goals
- Generate at least one letter to the editor per month on one of our issues of concern.
- Schedule meetings with our state legislators to update us on current bills.
- Actively communicate with our legislators on the issues of concern; including prodding them to take actions on dormant issues which need action, such as advance voting.
- Keep the Missouri TBW section on the TBW web site updated with topical articles.
